Free Estimates

All estimates within Lawncure's service area are completely free! During our initial inspection, Lawncure will perform a lawn analysis to determine the best course of action in order for your property to reach its full potential.

Lawn Maintenance

Our lawn maintenance program includes mowing, trimming, edging, blowing and cleanup of reasonable natural debris and accumulated trash.

Lawn Cure practices grass cycling to reduce fertilization requirements and to maximize the levels of organic material in the soil. We always vary the mowing pattern to maximize the health of your lawn.

Soil Analysis

A soil test analysis will be performed to determine soil type, pH, and levels of phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron. The results of this test will help determine fertilization requirements.

Fertilization

The appropriate nutrients to maximize the fertility of the soil will be applied as needed. Turfgrass type, soil type, pH, and nutrient levels help determine how much and how often fertilizers should be applied. Organic fertilizers are available upon request.

Weed Control

Lawncure will identify the weeds on your property and apply pre- and post-emergents as needed to maintain a beautiful lawn. We will also perform a lawn quality audit to measure your lawn's progress. Lawncure will monitor the turf for fungus, disease, and pests that might detract from the overall health of the lawn.

Lime

A soil test will be performed to determine the soil’s pH and liming requirements. Liming will accompany overseeding and starter fertilizer if applicable.

Aeration

The lawn will be core aerated to reduce thatch build-up and soil compaction, provide a lodging place for new seed, increase water penetration, and improve root development. Aeration should be done once per year and is recommended for cool season lawns in the fall and warm season lawns in the late spring.

Overseeding and Starter Fertilizer

Fescue lawns will be overseeded to promote a full, thick stand of grass. All other grasses are established vegetatively and do not require overseeding. A starter fertilizer that is high in phosphorus will accompany overseeding to hasten the growth and maturity of turfgrass seedlings and to stimulate root growth.

Pruning Programpruners

Shrubs

In February shrubs that have been allowed to overgrow will be reduced. In June, August, and October all shrubs will be contour pruned and sheared if necessary. All flowering shrubs will be pruned after blooming.

Ornamental Trees

Initial pruning and thinning in early spring to promote proper branching, health and beauty. Suckers at the trunk are removed throughout the year.

Bed Maintenance Program

Items in this program can be personalized to fit your needs:

Edging

If applicable, all landscape beds will be edged each visit with an edger. If desired, a trench style edge can be dug or a plastic, metal, or stone border can be installed.

Weed Control

Weeds located in landscape beds will be either sprayed with an herbicide, trimmed, or hand pulled depending on feasibility and the customer’s preference.

Mulch

Mulch in landscape beds will be refreshed based on the customer’s preference. Pinestraw is typically laid in spring and fall. Wood chips and bark are typically refreshed once per year. Existing wood chips and bark can be sprayed with a dye to keep it looking fresh. Rocks and pebbles that are used as mulch are only touched up as the customer requests.

Other Services

General Cleanup

Lawncure will perform general cleanup of lawn areas, bed areas and wooded areas. Let us know what you would like to do and we will let you know if and how we can help!

Leaf Removal

Lawncure will remove all leaves off of the lawn and haul off as needed during the leaf season.

Gutter/Roof Cleaning

Lawncure will blow off the roof, clean out the gutters, and blow all debris from driveways and walkways and out of bushes.

Low Risk Tree Removal

We accept only low-risk tree removal jobs. The size of the tree is generally not an issue but proximity to power lines, heavily leaning trees, and other risks may cause us to turn down a tree removal job. If you are unsure as to whether a job is considered low-risk, just ask for an estimate. We can grind limbs up to 6" for use as mulch on request.
